Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: May 28, 2026

Onsite Fit Testing is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including those with disabilities. We believe that respiratory compliance information should be available to everyone who needs it, regardless of how they access the web.

Conformance status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. WCAG 2.1 is an internationally recognized standard for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard. We are working to address known issues.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, landmarks, and labels.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements.
  • A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
  • Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA for body text and interactive controls.
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with associated labels, error messages, and autocomplete attributes.
  • External links that open in a new tab are announced to screen readers.
  • Mobile navigation built with accessible Radix UI primitives.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas under active improvement include:

  • The downloadable Fit Testing Field Guide PDF is being remediated for full screen-reader compatibility. If you need an accessible version sooner, please email us and we will send one directly.
  • Some third-party embedded content (e.g., Google reviews) may not fully meet WCAG AA.

Assessment approach

Onsite Fit Testing assesses the accessibility of this site through a combination of automated testing tools (axe, Lighthouse) and manual review (keyboard navigation and screen-reader testing). Accessibility is reviewed as part of every site update.
